MicroVet is an affordable, non invasive, easy to use device that is used to kick start and accelerate the natural healing process in soft tissue.
MicroVet relies upon two very distinct, but equally important, processes;

Micro-current Therapy is a process of regeneration, not repair. Reinstatement is accomplished by the laying down of Type 1 collagen, not Type 3 collagen, and there is therefore an absence of scar tissue.

A major problem when treating a horse with a tendon / ligament problem is that unlike humans, a horse is continually weight bearing, therefore exacerbating the problem. Within the horse racing industry, there are a huge percentage of horses which never reach the race track because of injuries sustained.

Box rest is always suggested when treating a horse with a tendon or ligament problem. This can often be up to 6 months and then a further 12 to 18 months, out in the field. A horse can therefore be away from the racecourse for 18 months to 2 years. When the horse returns very seldom does he return to the form prior to the injury.
